About
A personal note from Leander
I’ve always had an unconventional relationship with fear. When I was in my teens I started working as an Outdoor Adventure Instructor (summer and winter sports) and in this role I was trained to assess risk and fear. I was working with children from ages 6-18 and they were immersed in the wild elements of nature and trying adventure sports for the first time.
I worked in this role for five years and looking back now, I remember I was “the one” they called whenever a child got stuck. I had a special way of connecting and communicating to children when they were frozen in fear. I was always able to “talk them down” from very high ropes and guide them to safety while also empowering them.
My life has taken many twists and turns with lots of qualifications and life experiences and yet, it seems I am somehow still doing something similar to what I was doing when I was 17.
Except now, I help adults connect to their bodies and not only face their fears; but to also meet pain, anger, heartbreak, suffering, grief, shame, embarrassment, loneliness etc. Through the bodywork training and coaching modalities I have studied, I am able to guide clients to a safe space in their body and empower them to transform their lives.
The journey wasn't always easy. I also had to do a lot of work on myself but the results have been incredible. I hope I can be part of your journey. Please get in touch if you have any questions.

[ Qualifications & Practice ]
The trainings that underpin my work and why I love them…
Grinberg Method
What I love about the Grinberg Method: It has allowed me to be closer to people. The connections I now build are a lot stronger, warmer and deeper. I relate to people through my body (rather than what I think). My level of confidence, energy, resilience and willpower has skyrocketed since starting the Grinberg Method.
Systema Martial Arts
What I love about Systema: It is totally different to other forms of martial arts because it focuses on bringing your body to “agree / relax into” what is actually happening; and from there using a sense of passive power to influence the outcome you want. This relaxing / passive power is effective in combat and can be applied to life.
Non-Linear Movement
What I love about the Non-Linear Movement Method (NLMM): It is a way to let my body be totally free. The practice gives my body time and space to digest, feel at its own pace and rhythm without an imposed goal or outcome. When I teach it, it’s incredible to see people drop layers of resistance and tension and be free.
Intimacy & Attraction
What I love about the Intimacy & Attraction Training with Michael Boehm of & Steve James: It is a very clean and direct way to learn about how we relate to people. It’s an incredible skill to learn how to feel someone else and how to move in an embodied dynamic way that leads to deeper intimacy and connection.
Coaching
What I love about Coaching: With very little intervention, you can create a lot of change in someone's life. A well placed coaching question can really open up an entire universe for consideration. Coaching is a way of letting people figure it out themselves while also providing guidance.
Meditation
What I love about Meditation: It relaxes and settles me. Just 10 mins can transform my attention and connection to my body. I went through a period of doing strong determination sitting (4 hours) and this gave me a totally different way of perceiving myself and reality - in a sharp way!
Sports Massage
What I love about Sports Massage: I like how technical it is and I really enjoy feeling knots and attending to them by lengthening and stretching the fascia and softening places of tension and rigidity. I like how I can help someone's body to open up and relax in very specific areas.
Adventure Instructor
What I loved about being an Outdoor Adventure Instructor: I loved having direct contact with the wild elements of nature and helping people navigate risk and fear in a way that empowers them to be more confident; to help people develop skills and overcome physical challenges is exhilarating.
