The Grinberg Method is a somatic approach that allows you to work with injuries, chronic symptoms, old traumas, limiting beliefs and unwanted behaviours.
Leander Ruivenkamp will be offering Grinberg Method bodywork sessions at Michaela Boehm’s retreat: The Untamed Heart: Freedom and Devotion in April at Monte da Orada in Portugal.

Based in Amsterdam, Leander Ruivenkamp is a Somatic Therapist and Bodyworker specialising in the Grinberg Method. He works one-on-one to help people process trauma and understand their bodies better. Leander is also the Founder of the Amsterdam Academy for Body Learning and supports practitioners to deepen their training.
Leander has been studying with Michaela Boehm & Steve James since 2018 and is Certified Teacher in both The Non-Linear Movement Method® and The Intimacy and Attraction Workshop®.

We start the session by discussing the theme / issue / challenge you want to work on. Through attentive touch and guided attention, we explore how you hold tension, breathe, and respond to stress / emotions that are triggered.
We then work to drop or undo the habitual patterns that show up in the body and allow space for something new and/or different to emerge.

No. The sessions take place at the beginning of the day, during the lunch break and at the end of the day.
Session times are as follows:
7am
8am
1:15pm - 2:15pm (during the lunch break)
8:30pm (or as soon as the evening sesison ends)

€100 per session. Payment can be made in cash or bank transfer to an EU account.

Most sessions are conducted with partial clothing / underwear. However if you are more comfortable with clothes, that’s also fine.

You can reschedule your appointment (subject to availability) or cancel your appointment free of charge 24 hours prior.
Any changes or no shows after that 24 hour period incur the full 100% fee.
